Taking a step back

--

Sometimes, when I get flooded with too many different priorities, I just take a step back.

Usually this involves a short meditation — Loch Kelly has an excellent meditation on effortless focus. After this I ask myself what really needs my undivided attention the most at this moment.

And then I double down on just that item. Everything else gets timeboxed for a future point in time.
