Seek out honesty

--

There comes a point in every man’s education, where he arrives at the conviction that he needs to cut the crap… that he needs to cut off dishonest relationships, activities and environments.

When we realize the value in seeking out honest people and activities, our life changes. Everything becomes a lot easier. We are no longer entangled in the lies we tell ourselves and others.

One such honest activity that I like to seek out is freediving. Here is a sport which punishes you immediately when you’re not honest with yourself — about your fitness level, your level of relaxation or your level of ambition. The feedback is instantaneous.

This makes freediving an incredibly valuable practicing ground for honesty.

Where do you practice honesty?
